This book is not the typical book from the CFBA reading list, but I have really enjoyed it. If you like suspense books, I would give this one a try. I plan on going back to read Deadfall, the book before this one.

This book was difficult for me to read. I don't know if it was because of the abuse that occurs throughout the story or if it was the story itself. The ending left me hanging, which was a little frustrating. However, it did bring up a lot of difficult issues that are often ignored. If you are looking for a light read, this is not it. But, if you are looking for a though-provoking book, this will do it.

These days, I’m exploring fiction. My first novel, Tender Grace, will be released by Bethany House January 30, 2009, and a second, Things Worth Remembering, will be released in October, 2009. This was by far the best book I have read in a long time. I highly recommend it! I felt myself going along the healing journey with Audrey, and I loved the way the book took me through the book of John.

I really enjoyed this book! As I said with the last book, I enjoy reading suspense/mystery novels. This book was an interesting and easy read. While it is classified as a romance, it really does not focus on that at all. The main characters have some issues to work through in their marriage, but it is not a romance in the sense that a romance is budding. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a wholesome, interesting mystery.

I really enjoy suspense/mystery novels, so this was a fun read for me. It was more suspense than romance, which was also nice. I look forward to reading more in this series as they come out.
