I am so excited! Andrew and I were supposed to go to Tennessee this weekend to see my nephew play football and visit with their family. However, since I have been grounded (my doctor won't let me travel past 22 weeks- which was Wednesday), we ended up staying home. Andrew still had the day off, though, so he decided to put it to good use. While I was at work (we were short-staffed, so I went ahead and went in), Andrew and his mother painted the nursery walls and painted the dresser. Three walls are a light yellow (Dessert Flower) and the fourth wall is a light blue (Summer Breeze). The dresser is a green color (Athenian Green) that matches the outline of the froggie bedding and the drawers are the colors of the walls. It looks really cute! Then, after I got home yesterday afternoon, they put the crib together and put the bedding in it and we carried my glider rocker into the room.
Voila! In one day, I got a baby nursery...and I love it!
My contribution to the project? I sat on the bed in the room and watched. Helpful, huh?
Of course, later last night, I could not find the cats. After rushing back to the nursery, I found this...

Nice color scheme! Our nursery is green, yellow, and blue...but a little bit brighter. The dresser looks really neat! Way to go having the nursery done(painted) so early!
