Well, I am trying something new this month. I planned my entire menu (roughly) for the month and am going to try to get all of my main shopping done this week. Then, I will only need to go to the grocery store for things like milk and bread this month. Hopefully, this will cut down on the amount of time I spend at the grocery store and also on the impulse buys that happen when I go to the store.
That being said, here is my menu for this week.
Monday: Leftovers- we ordered a pizza over the weekend.
Tuesday: Either Leftover Cowboy Soup from the freezer or Eating out with Friends at The Forge and Vine. (this will be either Tuesday or Thursday, depending on our friends' schedules)
Wednesday: Pulled Pork Sandwiches (I have yet to try this, but this is the week!)
Thursday: Whatever we did not do Tuesday.
Friday: Taco Casserole
Saturday: Country Potato Chowder
Sunday: Kikkoman Chicken, Grilled Asparagus, Rolls(or leftovers if I don't feel like cooking)

Yummm....we love pulled-pork sandwiches made in the slow cooker. :-)
I also plan our weekly menu, but do shopping once a week since I found it too difficult to plan a month adhead of time.
I liked your menu. I will be incorporating some of your recipes into my future menus.
I also plan my menu by the month. I would do more shopping ahead of time except I have a tiny freezer. That is one of the things I miss about living in the US. Oh well. I did the same as you when we lived in the US, and I saved a lot of time and money. It was great! Good luck with it.gr
That's the pulled-pork recipe I use. It's great!
That pulled pork recipe looks good! And super easy! I'm going to try it. :-)
Tiffany,
I was checking out the blogs you like to read and thought I might suggest one more. teehee. If you go to my blog, on the right hand side I have links to blogs I read and Beth Moore is one of them. I just love her so much!!
