This is my first edition of Tackle it Tuesday. Since I stay at home on Mondays, I usually get my tackling done then instead of Tuesdays, but I thought I would participate in it anyway. It is close enough, right? So, here is what I tackled this week.
We keep a file of manuals for electronics, appliances, mowers, etc that we have. I have been trying for weeks to get my file cleaned out. We have gotten new cell phones, a new washer, and a new DVD player to name a few since we originally started this folder. It has grown substantially. It was definitely time to clean it out.
Here is what it looked like before. I had to use both hands to lift it out of the file cabinet.
Head over to 5 Minutes for Moms for more tackling ideas. I like to see what other people are working on. It helps me realize what needs to be done at my house.

Great tackle! I have a binder for our manuals and I need to do this too...if I could find it! lol!! Seriously...it's gone and where in the world would something like that go to?
This is my first visit to your blog..I like the dots in the background! I've added you to my Google Reader and look forward to coming back to visit!
That is a great idea to have a file for all the manuals, I end up sticking ours in different drawers and then I can't find them.
We have something very similar. I am always amazed at how big it is!
Thanks for the reminder.
I have one of those according files for our warranties and manuals. Its time to sort, purge and file the new stuff.
Great job!!
Great Tiffany! I need to do the same thing! You inspire me!
My file grew so big I put it in a Rubermaid box. Kudos for getting it organized.

Hmm...am I supposed to keep manuals? :-)
Oh my gosh, I have a file folder exactly like that, full of old owner's manuals! lol Guess I ought to tackle that one of these days, too... So many jobs, so little time! Congrats on getting that done. ;o)
Looks great!
I'm impressed that you all just have one file of manuals. I have an entire file cabinet DRAWER full. Hmmmmmm, that just might be my next tackle. Thanks for the idea!
