We are experiencing our first snow of the winter. It started snowing around 2:00 today and has recently turned to sleet. I was at home today, but Andrew worked. He is currently on his way home. His normally 20 minute drive has already taken over an hour and he is about half way here. He keeps calling giving me an update on his progress so I won't worry. How sweet!
Well, it is sweet, but he learned his lesson the first winter we were married. He was late coming home (he was stuck in a meeting) and I absolutely freaked out, picturing him in a ditch somewhere. At this point, he did not have a cell phone yet. When he got home, I was so relieved...and then exploded! We arrived at an agreement (after I calmed down) that we would not leave to come home without calling first. And, if it was going to take longer, we would call.
Anyway, I am totally enjoying the snow (from our picture window in the living room). Do you like the snow, or do you cringe when you see it in the forecast? Me, I like it if I don't have to get out and drive in it. I am not big on playing in it (I am hypersensitive to cold- welts and everything), but I think it is absolutely beautiful!

Nice! No snow here; even though it's very cold and very windy, it isn't quite THAT cold.
Hope Andrew gets home safe, and that the roads are cleared for the morning commute!
It took me almost an hour to get from Regional to my apartment tonight. Crazy. But, yes, a pretty sight outside.
I love snow, but only from inside the house.

That's a really neat picture with the big snowflakes falling out by the tree in the front yard
