Well, I finally was able to have the surgery to correct the deformity that caused the problems with Sydney. I thought it was never going to happen when my surgery date kept getting pushed back farther and farther. It was pretty stressful because I really wanted to get this behind me. And now it is! I had the surgery Friday and am doing great. I have hardly had any pain and have only taken my ibuprofen- not the Percoset. Unfortunately for Drew, I really did not do anything funny or embarrassing because of the medicine. He was hoping to get some ammunition to keep me from giving him a hard time about his experiences with the "happy drugs" as we refer to them. Anyway, I am scheduled for a follow up visit on September 20th to make sure that they got it all and to remove my cage. Yes, I said my cage. To keep the uterus from collapsing on itself and adhering to itself while healing, they put a collapsible cage in that he will remove later. So, now it is just more waiting to see how it went. I will keep you posted.

Tiff - sounds like everything went well. Wish we were there so that I could help with meals and stuff as you're recovering!
I am so glad that things went so well. I called Aunt Nannie on Friday and she said that things went as planned. I hope that everything heals well, and I am so glad taht you are not having much discomfort. Love Ya
