For those of you who don't know, I work as a PRN Physical Therapist at a hospital here in town. That means that they call me when they need extra help and I can either go in to work, or not. It is my choice. Our census has been so high lately that they have told me to come in any day that I can or want to. It really is nice!
Today is the first time that I did not work (on week days) in 11 days! And before that, I was still working a lot. For almost three weeks, I have been incredibly busy! I almost don't know what my house looks like by the light of day. Often, I have not gotten home before 9 pm. I have been too tired or busy to blog, clean, or even walk straight most days!
But, no more! I should be back on my schedule of working three days a week and having the other two days to get things done around the house. I never thought I would enjoy that, but I really do!
Of course, we have a busy weekend planned. Tonight, our college group at church is splitting up for the night. The girls are getting together for a slumber party and they guys are coming over to our house for burgers and Wii. As I am terrible with late nights, I will be coming home after the scavenger hunt.
Tomorrow, we are hosting a bonfire at Andrew's parent's house for the college group. We will start ~3 with games and then get the fire going a little later for hot dogs, smores, and fun.
Sunday is church. But, since I will not be going back to work until Tuesday, I will have Monday to recuperate! Well, I had better get cleaning!

Yay! I'm glad you'll finally have some time to rest & catch up on life. Working full-time is hard when you're also the homemaker!
It's always great to have one "down" day to get all the little things done or to just relax. Have a great weekend!
The college group activities sound fun! I miss "my" college kids, although I do see a few of them once in a while. (We have done college ministry for a few years.)

I'm only working part time too... with the same intentions as you, to have more time to do things around my house, etc. I can't really afford to work part time but I feel my sanity is a bit more important than the money. I still work 5 days a week, just only 5 hrs a day, though lately I've been getting more hours than I want. oh well.
