We always love giving gifts at Christmas. It is always cool to see someone open a gift that you spent a lot of time choosing and see them love it!
However, I like getting gifts, too! Here are some of the things we got for Christmas this year:
I got a really cool purse. It has three smaller "purses" inside for ease with organizing. I also got a couple of ladybug things. One was a 
birdhouse and the other was a bread towel/doily. We had planned on a ladybug theme for Sydney's nursery, so ladybugs have become our symbol for/reminder of her. All things ladybug are precious to me now. I also received money to put towards a digital picture frame, which I have wanted for a while.
Andrew got a CD, Between the Altar and the Door, by Casting Crowns. This is a CD we both have been wanting for quite a while! He also got
note cards with the "Big Tree" on the front and facts about the tree on the back. The "Big Tree" is the largest Burr Oak in Missouri and is truly an optical illusion! He also got a couple of tools, a saw and a hatchet, complete with a first aid kit: bandaids, gauze and tape. His parents know him well!
Both of us got tickets to see Martina McBride in concert on February 24th at the Hearnes Center! I am soooo excited!

Wow, you got lots of good stuff! I have that Casting Crowns CD, and I really like it. If you play it all the way through, there's a bonus song at the end.
Yes. If you haven't heard the story behind it, it's pretty amazing.
