Happy Father's Day

Tomorrow is Father's Day. While this day may not be as hard for me as Mother's Day was, I know it will be hard on Drew. Having seen him with many different children over the years, I know he would have been adored by Sydney, and I'm sure he was already wrapped around her finger. He had already been singing her songs and reading her his favorite book from his childhood. So, I want to wish Andrew a Happy Father's Day because I know that he is an amazing Dad.

Tiffany, I know Andy is a great father. Sydney will always be special in his heart. I'm sad today to know that he can't have Sydney with him physically today on his first Father's Day. I love you and have asked God for a special blessing for you both today! Mom

Just let Andy know that my heart hurts for him on Father's day. We were at Sydney's grave and I couldn't stop thinking how he must be hurting. I still can't even imagine how hard it must be for you both.

I have thought the same things about Andrew. Every time I watch him interact with children I think about what a wonderful father he was to Sydney and will be in the future.

Andrew, we're thinking of you today.

Tiff,
We all know how great Andy is with kids. I see how my kids love both of you, and I know that Sydney is fortunate to have both of you as parents. Please let Andy know that we wish him well, and we are praying for you.

My first Father's Day came almost an entire year after Gavin's birth. I think about two things on each Father's Day: the first time I saw his tiny face and the love I have for Brook that made him possible. Andy will always have both of those things to remember about Sydney, as well. Part of being a dad is being someone to emulate. I am proud to know that Andy will be an example to Gavin and to his future children. I love you both,
Geoff
