Maybe I'm Crazy!

Yesterday, I had an interview for a part-time job at Curves, a fitness facility for women. The position was simply a technician and included teaching women how to use the equipment, talking to them while they are on the equipment, keeping things interesting so they want to keep coming, etc. I was excited going into the interview, thinking that it would be right up my ally...doing a lot of the things that I love about PT without all of the stress. Sandi and Chase picked me up (since I still can't drive for a couple more weeks) and took me to the interview. Since we were early, we killed some time at a very cool coffee shop next to Curves called Rendezvous (great atmosphere). The interview went well and I left feeling pretty confident about it. However, as I began thinking about the job, I started getting some reservations. There were several duties that I was not looking forward to, such as delivering magazines to doctors offices for advertisement every month. But the thing that scarred me the most was talking to the women who were working out and the subject of family and if I have any children coming up. I just don't think I am ready to tackle that question so frequently yet. So, when they called me and offered me the job last night, I turned it down, and my job search continues. So the question arises...am I crazy? Maybe so. But, I'm coming to terms with that. :)

Hey, sweetie! I don't think you're crazy at all. Your decision shows very impressive self-awareness.

You are definitely not crazy, Tiffany. I am proud of you for doing the interview in the first place -- I think that was a big enough hurdle to get through.

One day at a time. You're doing great.
